Olga Bernikova was born in Moscow. In 1990, she graduated from the Art and Graphic Department of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V. I. Lenin. In 2003 – from Faculty of Design, Moscow State Institute of Electronic Technology.

Since her student years she has been teaching fine and decorative arts, travels a lot, and makes sketches. Pastel drawings made by her in different parts of the world become sketches for patchwork panels and paintings, the plots of which reflect the national color of Russia, sing the beauty of Italy, the exotic of India, acquaint the audience with the folklore motifs of other countries, invite them to travel along the mountain slopes, streets of ancient cities, into the underwater kingdom, into the world of fairy tales...

The author’s creative method is a combination of painting, graphics and a number of applied techniques for working with textiles: patchwork plastic, collage, hand and machine embroidery.

Olga Vyacheslavovna - Senior Lecturer in the courses “Interior Design” and “Landscape Design” at the Faculty of Continuing Professional Education of Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “REU named after G. V. Plekhanov "; Candidate of pedagogical sciences at the Department of Decorative Arts and Design, Moscow State Pedagogical University; independent expert at the Eureka Institute for Educational Policy Problems; Founder and Head of StudiO Creative Development Workshop; participant and laureate of Russian and international exhibitions and festivals.

She works in Russia and abroad: according to her own methods, she gives lectures and gives master classes in fine, decorative and applied art and design, writes books and articles on the topic of his creative and pedagogical activity.
