I look at Griboedov's channel,
Again it sound the bells
And in my heart again it trembling
That it is not the dream at all
As soon as the spleen starts purring
I will look and say again about
This place where I live now, where everything
Is rolling in the history and
Tower about in every step

I constantly come back to this theme. Petersburg carried me away as a creative person.

Here all the instants are carries me away with own history. The city stay on the strong-spirit people and artists are among them.

When I outdoor it is always arises wish to reproduce the world of this city, which is in constantly motion and its space absorbs me as an artist completely.

As soon as I come in this space with brushes and colors, appears the feeling, as if everything asks itself on the canvas and I am only the participant, observer of this process, where an instant is fixing. The brushes are trying to imprint the city, sun, rain, interest scenes of life, people's faces and everything that is going around me at the moment.

I cannot exist without this state, this is my life, my pictures, and this is my self-identification in this space.

LARISA  AKHMADEEVA

1974 -  born in Kuybyshev, USSR, now Samara, Russia

1994 - finished the Feshin Art School, of Kazan, Tatarstan

1994 - moved to Saint-Petersburg where has studied at Repin Fine Arts Institute

2004 - member of The Union of Artists Russian and St.Petersburg Pastel Society.

She works in various genres, various techniques. Often works in the open-air. Her works are kept in the private collections in Russia and abroad.
