Solo Exhibition of Paintings and Drawings by Larisa Kovbenko The exhibition "Shores" by St. Petersburg artist Larisa Kovbenko brings together paintings and drawings in the genres of landscape, portraiture, and still life. The SPAS Gallery presents 30 paintings and 20 drawings in monotype. In this project, the artist addresses the theme of travel. The works create a contemplative space in which urban landscapes and water elements act not as objects of depiction, but as environments full of impressions and emotions. "Shores" is a journey without a destination. The important thing is the passage of time, which flows as slowly and inexorably as a river between its banks. The exhibition is structured as a single route, in which each work becomes a stopover between the past and the present, as the exhibition tells not of specific places, but of a life's journey. The landscapes here serve as memories, and the water between them becomes both a boundary and a connection. The works speak quietly. They don't capture a moment—they allow it to linger, remaining in our memory. Paintings are about time, roads, cities, and the dear people who are always with us.
