All the flowers are silent at first hearing:
There, in the forest, and further, across the creek ...
All the flowers - on first hearing - silent,
If you do not ask them about anything.

Yes, but the wind, bees and the dew,
Just touching their open mouths,
It seems that any voices
Could make the voice of flowers.

After a long winter with its flu, sleet, rain, and even frost person would like to mark the arrival of spring and warmth and to commemorate this life milestone something joyful and beautiful. Nature, driving in the city into small reservations, which are under pressure from development made even smaller, not always able to give a sense of the change of season in its entirety. But the man endowed with the gift of imagination, is able to enjoy life sometimes even in spite of its obvious shortcomings, which, paradoxically, brings progress.

Flowers, beautiful creatures of nature - are vulnerable, perishable, their beauty is fleeting, their fragrance volatile. Swept a storm of hail - and broke them, people passed by - and tore them, time is gone - and their petals fell off. But in the world of imagination, the world of fantasy, art, they remain alive and vibrant for centuries. Their excessive beauty, designed, apparently, only in order to attract insects and still captivating the human eye, gets a wonderful respite from the non-existence.

The exhibition, which will be held in the gallery "S.P.A.S." from the fourth till April 30, will feature paintings of flowers painted by different artists. Here you will see a modest wildflowers and lush garden, flowers standing in a vase and growing in the meadow, painted in the abstract manner and realistically. This picturesque abundance of flora kingdom is real festive spectacle even for the most delicate, sensitive nature, the dream island in the stormy sea of life.
